Summary: Fuji Minami works at an advertising agency. She sees everything in her life in four screens, the same technique she uses to visualize an advertisement to make the most use of the limited time.
One day, she happens to pick up a stranger's telephone on the train (ie: fated encounter). It happens to belong to someone around ten years her junior, who rants about having to go to a job interview, although he thinks there has to be something better for him on days like this, etc, which makes her snap at him about her opinion of a life plan, and then hand the phone over to the train station for Ishida to pick it up himself.
They have yet another encounter on a pedestrian-crossing non the less, although obviously they don't notice each other. Then Ishida's part time job just happens to be at the company that Fujii-san works at.
Review: It should come as no surprise that I watch these things purely for the pretties. I mean yes, an actual plot or a lovely awesome drama is always nice, but let's be honest here, I'll probably watch anything on earth, just to oggle these people. (Why yes, I am utterly shallow in this regard. Like a puddle. Of melted mush. Which their adorkableness reduces me into.) Part of the obsession you see, it's an inescapable fact of the illness.
And just who can be prettier than Kamenashi Kazuya, with hair like that. Damn the boy is gorgeous. (Whose going to vote that that's gonna be the most over-abused word in this blog pretty soon? ^_~) I am wholeheartedly glad I got over my absurd anti-Kame phase. Think of all the pretty I would have missed!
Speaking of the Drama itself... Did I mention that Kamenashi is adorable and utterly made of cute? Coz he is. Really. <3 Drama. Itself. This I actually LIKED. I expected another Anego, but this has a decided minimum of Stupid Adults, specially in comparison to Anego. Good Thing. Very. No one I wanted to chain to a rock and set eagles on, really. Even the two possible candidates kinda redeemed themselves in the end. Although wait. Watanabe. *evil thoughts* That woman was seriously annoying. You just don't ask people to hand persons over to you coz you have nothing and she has everything, okay? Think of poor Kamenashi standing in the rain! [erm, rant, yes.]
I learned quite a bit about commercials which I thought was cool. Got some tips about handling the creative process. It was fun. Maybe I am a boring person who actually likes office dramas? (And everything else basically? Since upon reflection there are very few things I dislikespecially if they have shinny pretties in them.)
I liked Fujii Minami. The entire drama was kinda cute, despite being an otona no office drama. The confessions were cute. There were other cute-things which I am not talking about, NOT, ofcourse, because I am lazy and stuff like that, but because I don't remember how to do the spoiler hide thing again. So moving on.
The Enjoy-Oyaji was funny. Natsuki-chan was adorable. Ishida playing mommy/nanny/housekeeper to them (while leaching off them and living there) was beyond awesomely adorable.
Altogether good drama.

Quotes:
Fuji Minami: Well, wouldn't it be great if we could work together even ten years from now?
In ten years, you'll become some kind of a hot shot, and we'll work overtime together.
Then we'll laugh and talk about how hopeless you were when you first came here.
Wouldn't that be awesomely fun?
Ishida Yuya: There's a huge difference...
Fuji Minami: Eh?
Ishida Yuya: Actually, I cannot even think of ten minutes from now,
let alone ten years into the future.
Me in ten years, something that much in the future,
there's only one single person in the entire world who is thinking of such a thing.
Just one.
Only you, Fujii-san.

Note: I wonder why I try reviewing these things now, since I clearly fail at being objective, and just randomly flail/flounder anyway. >_>
Also, Ishida's cellphone ringtone sounds familar, but I cannot place my finger on it. Does anyone know what it is?
